Vodacom is ********** and misleading people over the phone.

I am very upset for being mislead by Vodacom. I wanted to cancel my contract and go to pay as you go end of January 2021 . The agent tried to convince me not to go to pay as you go and she said she will put me on a month to month contract so that I can decide. So I was contacted again by Vodacom eng of Oct 2021. The agent said she will leave all my services as it currently was on the month to month and make the bill R100 less but put me on a 24 month contract. I thought it was a good deal and said it is fine. My first month to pay has arrived and I did not receive the 2G data but the airtime I did receive and the voice minutes. I tried to contact and speak to someone but they keep on asking for the account holder. So my husband spoke to them since he is the account holder and still no one wants to help us regarding the misleading information. I have been with Vodacom for probably over 10 years but I am so disappointed that they have double standards and for misleading me as a client. When they want to sell you something they don't care to talk to the account holder but if you want to get information on your account and why the data is not being allocated to you as it was indicated that you will receive it, now they want to ask to speak to the account holder. This is ridiculous and and they have double standards. I warn everyone out there don't do business with Vodacom over the phone because if you have problems then you have no one that can assist you! They are ********** and misleading people.
