Vodacom is dishonest, blatantly *****ing from customers.

Absolutely horrible service from Vodacom. I activated a 7-day travel bundle while abroad, under the impression that the bundle would last for the specified duration of 7 days. However, upon returning home, I was shocked to find that the bundle was automatically renewed on the last day of my travel.

When I contacted customer care, I was informed by the consultant that the "valid for 7 days" bundle is actually a recurring bundle, and that I should have deactivated it myself. I explained that the information provided to me at the time of purchase clearly indicated that the bundle was valid for 7 days, with no mention of it being recurring. The consultant’s response was that it also doesn’t state that it is a "once off” purchase, so they fault is mine. Vodacom blatantly hides the fact that these bundles automatically renew. Vodacom is dishonest, there is simply no other way to put it. It is clear from your customer service that no one is going to correct this, and not even a supervisor is available to speak to me. But I suggest you do the right thing and at the very least change the wording on your bundles and add all the relevant information to your confirmation messages when these bundles are activated- stop being dishonest and start taking care of your customers in an honest and transparent way. Utterly disappointed that in the 22 years I have been a customer, Vodacom has never made the impression that their customers are taken care of.
