vodacom is confused

On the 17th of July I went to vodacom Midlands mall to see if i can get a modem on a topup contract. I went through the whole application process. I was then told that it would take a few hours further to process the application. Which I was ok with waiting. The whole day went by with no call finally the following day I receive a call informing me that it has been approved I need to came in and finalze the modem contract. Unfortantly due to staying out of town abit I had to make a special trip into town. On arriving at vodacom the sales person that initial attends to me wasn't present. The new sales person now tells me a complete different story. That I never was qualifed for the modem but can take a aim card only deal. Vodacom needs to get there facts straight instead wasting a person time and money you not paying me for transport costs to run up and down if I was informed from the start that I can only get a sim only deal I would of said right then not to worry. I would of had to waste time a travlling costs to the mall for nothing.
