Vodacom is bunch of snakes. Upgraded my contract without my knowledge

Vodacom is a bunch of snakes. They misled me and upgraded my contract with false information and without my knowledge. On 19 November, I called to cancel my contract, and I was told that I could only do so in March 2025 when my contract ends. During the call, the agent told me a whole bunch of lies, claiming that I could reduce my bill starting immediately while still being able to cancel my contract in March, as I am a “valuable customer.”

I repeatedly asked him if this was an upgrade, and he assured me that it wasn’t. However, I discovered today that it was an upgrade, and now I’m stuck for another two years. I’ve been calling and calling to reverse this upgrade that I didn’t apply for.

All I can say is, never trust them—they will deceive you into signing a contract
