Vodacom is a ******** syndicate

Vodacom are a bunch of *******. After my phone was ******, I did a sim swop, but used my WiFi for Internet and WhatsApp, as they ****** money out of you for data. The amount they charge per GB is insane and if you don't load any data or airtime, they will disconnect your number and give it to someone else. I've been using the number on WhatsApp, but when I tried to load R200 airtime, the number remains unavailable and shows no sign of network connection. I've gone to Vodacom and asked for my money back, but they refuse saying it's now someone else's number. I tried calling my number and it is still disconnected, so how does someone else have my number? They stole the money and refuse to connect my number. Avoid Vodacom entirely. Do not open a contract with them as the have hidden fees and will charge you insanely high rates to cancel. Get Rain Mobile as they at least are upfront and ask R10 a GB. I will never use Vodacom ever again and will make sure to share my bad experience with anyone willing to listen. Vodacom are a bunch of ********s.

The problem is still not resolved. I went to a vodacom shop and tried to get a sim swop, but it did not want to go through, as the lady said the fault is on the system of Vodacom. I habe tried everything possible to recover the money and the number, but vodacom could not fix the problem. They need to fix the system error, or give me back my money. Simple as that.

Still no refund and no response from Vodacom to date. Stay away from Vodacom. They will take advantage of you

I was refunded with the R200 to a different Vodacom number. It seems the only way I may get my number back is if I ask for the number on contract. I refuse to pay a monthly contract to keep my number I use for work. Feels like ******ion to me.
