Vodacom is a ****

In December 2013, I bought a Nokia Lumia 1020 with my dad on contract. In September of 2015, my sim card was blocked by Vodacom and I had not used it ever since. I was due for an upgrade but my dad and I were never called or emailed in regards to whether we wanted to continue with our contract or if we would like to cancel. Vodacom kept taking money even after the contract has ended. The phone died in May 2016.

In January 2018, my dad realised that we still have been getting billed for the phone. We went to the Vodacom store in Eastgate Mall where we purchased the phone and one of the employees was rude and told us that we could not receive our money back and could not help us. She instead gave us a number to call (please make me understand why I needed to call when I was at the store and asking for assistance FROM THE DAMN STORE!). I was told to reactivate my number because I still have airtime. I have not used or opened the sim card.

I want my money back. Someone please assist us on what to do. This is time consuming and upsetting. Vodacom has terrible customer service and do not care for their customers.
