vodacom is a NO service provider

I was ****** of my cellphone at knifepoint today. Naturally, the first thing I did within a few minutes of getting to safety was call vodacom to block my cellphone and number. this was around 12:48. I had to endure every single option on the Callcentre before being put throught to someone, who then said I needed to be transferred to 'contracts' and was on hold for about 5 minutes before being disconnected. I tried 3 times thereafter, to no avail. Then again at 13:21 and was on hold for 28 minutes. During my first call at 12:48, I sent an email requesting the phone blockage to email address [Email Removed] at 12:58. At 13:13 I received a response saying that my email was undelivered. I used this email address on countless occasions when changing my details and making enquiries on my account. Then, I decided to visit a store in my neighborhood, chatz connect. There I was told to go to another vodacom store as I could not process the blocking of my phone at this store. The irony for me - the chatz connect store issues contracts and phones but can't block a ****** phone? The final straw - go onto vodacom website only to be told chat service is terminated
