Vodacom is a Monopoly

I wrote previously on hellopeter to bring to light that monopolies still exist. Brackendowns has now had fibre laid and I would like to join the broadband family. This week service providers were knocking on doors and offering packages. Offer was for fibre at R604 per month. On checking the map they told me that although they are offering this service to my neighbours I would have to use Vodacom and Pay R900 a month for the same package. I am not allowed to use any other service provider, To me it is a monopoly when a company can hold you to ransom on a service and charge 50% more than every one else.
