VODACOM IS A MONEY MAKING SCHEME WITH A BUNCH OF *********** EMPLOYEES

Vodacom can't treat me fairly anymore. My data bundles contract was coming to an end on 31 March 2024. As a result, I decided to top up my contract. However, the salesperson didn't top up my contract, instead she put me on an open line contract, which is not what I requested. An open line contract puts you on a data contract that is uncappped, so even when your data is finished, you will still have access to the internet but on a charging basis. When I asked them to cancel the contract, they told me that I have to wait for the 1st of May 2024 for the cancellation to be processed, which I think is ridiculous given that the error was from their side. Now I will have to deal with what I didn't sign up for, for a whole month.

On the other hand, on the data bundles contract that was expiring on 31 March 2024, I asked them to cancel the contract on one of the numbers that I was receiving data on, but they still loaded data on 1 April 2024, even when I asked them to cancel it since it was expiring on 31 March 2024. Why did they load the data on the number that I asked them to stop loading data on by the end of the contract term? Is Vodacom a money making scheme now? Now I have to pay for the data bundles that I don't need since I also have to wait for the 1st of May 2024 for the cancellation to be processed. In the interim, I will still have to pay for the error that they have made this month. THIS IS REALLY PATHETIC TO SAY THE LEAST.
