VODACOM IS A ****, BEWARE

I cancelled a 4 year contract with them on the 08\07\2023. Consultant tried to trick me to extend it but i was already aware of their dirty tactics to trick us, i refused. Consultant advised me to convert the number to prepaid one, which i agreed.

To my surprise they debited my account month end of July. Called them, they made an excuse that there was a month where they could not debit. I said i will send them my banking statement because i knew they were lying. I believe that the consultant at their cancellation department could have picked that up. I called my bank seeking assistance from them, and yes they were lying. There was never a bounced payment. I managed to reverse the amount that was debited.

To my surprise, i got a call from debt collectors called (VVM Debt Collectors) on 05\09\2023 saying they are representing Vodacom.

They handed my name to debt collectors because they couldn't do as they please with my account as i blocked them.
