Vodacom is a ****
Vodacom is a ****. Got a call on Monday the 6th of May 2024 from Vodacom sales consultant by the name of Michelle offering a deal to upgrade on a 24 months contract which I agreed on and calls were recorded, but to my surprise when a dispatch consultant called me to confirm details of delivery, the term was now changed to 36 months of which I disagreed on. so the dispatcher canceled the order for the sales consultant to rectify their mistake, till today no one called me and I've been doing follow ups on a daily basis and all I got was they escalated the matter because the lady (Michelle) sold me a lie as she misled me on the deal. Vodacom should give me what they offered and stop persuading me into entering a different deal.
I was misinformed, misled, deceived and my time was wasted trying to get them to do the right thing!!!
I hope this gets to the public so they can be more vigilant when getting into Vodacom contracts.
At the moment I can't wait for my current contract to end so I can end my relationship with Vodacom.
No, that's a lie, no one contacted me, it was only when I was doing follow up then they tried to offer something else and I said No, I want the same contract which was offered. That one which is canceled was because of incorrect term of contract (36 months), they even said they can't amend 36 to 24 because of reference numbers, so this one has to be canceled altogether so the 24 months can be lodged from scratch with its own reference number then I said ohk, cancel it so the sales consultant can rectify it. I'm still waiting for the call for correction of contract term to 24 months from sales consultant to date. The only thing which I received yesterday is sms stated as follows (Hi Modingoane. This is an update for case no: RCO521645. Feedback will be provided within 2 business days. Thank you for your patience. Rewards Co)
Vodacom stop with your lies and do the right thing. If you don't know how to solve this, just say it but don't lie. No wonder you rep**** privately instead of replying publicly because you know what you hiding.
