Vodacom is a ****.

I took a cellphone contract with Vodacom in 2023, with insurance cover in case my phone not my sim card gets damaged.

This year, my phone fell and the screen was damaged.

We having a network problem with vodacom in my area, so I decided to take out the sim and put my old sim in order for me to receive call.

I borrowed my younger brother the sim, as I receive R300 of airtime and he needs it more than me, because he is not working.

To cut the story short, I went to vodacom alberton to book my phone for repair.

Vodacom insurance, phoned me to tell me that my claim has be repudiated because my sim was not in the phone when the incident happened.

I did not want to fight them as they have sent me a contract and a voice note saying that.

I decided to just close my chapter with them and pay their money, they said I must go to Vodacom and pay there.

To my surprise today, when I went there to collect my phone, because the insurance has repudiated my claim. I was advised to pay more than R200 for booking my phone with them. This is utter nonsense, I did not want to write bad about vodacom but this has pushed me to seek for help and hopefully, this will also assist others who are thinking of taking insurance with vodacom.

Vidacom please give me my phone as you have repudiated my claim. Why should I pay for you to just keep my phone?

To date, I am wait for vodacom to contact me, here is my number ***. I have also signed a cancellation just to have a peace of mind.

Please deal with the matter of my phone, I need my phone from Alberton outlet as insurance has disputed the claim. I can't pay vodacom for keeping my phone. I gave you my phone because is damaged and you disputed my claim, so why am I supposed to pay, what am I paying for if I did not receive the joy of insuring my phone.

Vodacom please I want to start 2026 without thinking or talking about you.

I accepted that you repudiated my claim and I decided to make peace with that by cancelling your the contract I have with you.

I paid what is due and send cancellation form
