VODACOM IS A ****

I had a contract with Vodacom Fiber that expired. I was paying R699 monthly, and the fiber was not reliable, it has network issues frequently and they used to send SMS to apologize for inconvenience. So, since their service was poor, and they were deducting full amount regardless of their fiber being unavailable so I decided not to renew the contract with them. Then I noticed that they did not debit also so I assumed our deal has ended since we do not a contract anymore. After few months a lady from Vodacom fiber called and tell me I owe them an amount that was above R2000.00. To my surprise I asked the lady how come because I am no longer using their service its not even connected for months now and they can verify that from their technical support department. Then I requested the lady to stop and close that account while they are doing their investigation. The lady told me I must pay in order for her to close the account. In January this year they debited that full outstanding amount of R2000 and something rands. I decided to let that debit go through so that they can close this account. Then I called their vodacom fibre customer care and hold for almost an hour with no answer. So I decided to write an email to them asking for an account to be closed and a letter of confirmation to be sent to me. They never responded to my email, I send whatsup to their Whatsup number *** and the lady by the name of Vuyokazi responded and I told her my story, then she said I should call the same number *** that is always ringing wasting my airtime with no answer. I gave this lady my cell number and asked her to call me back. They never called, I again bothered myself and asked the lady about the way forward and she never responded to my whatsup anymore. This is not fare to me, I cannot pay for a service that is not there, that I am not using. Ther keep on invoicing but they are ignoring my emails and whatsup. VODACON IS A ****. I kept all the emails and whatsups that I sent to them. I am thinking of taking this matter to court now.
