Vodacom is ***********
Vodacom customer retentions department is absolutely clueless, dishonest and pathetic when it comes to dealing with human beings. I was called by Vodacom on the 17th of July 2024 for an upgrade @ 12h13 by Alveena on 08***. I opted not to go for another mobile device and Alveena said that she would speak to her superior of the deals they could offer me and would call back in the afternoon. She called back @ 14h30 and offered me the same package that im currently on with a monthly fee of R80.00c. I explained to her that previously my experience with vodacom when doing an upgrade is that a customer would lose their current airtime and data when it switches over to a new deal and requested that she call me in August to activate it, of which she understood and agreed to. Yesterday on the 15th of August @15h55 I called vodacom to activate the package offered to me and was told by Rekha and Chris Naidoo from the retentions department that this offer is not available. I explained to them the conversation that took place seeing that all calls are recorded and to request for those calls and confirm. Chris Naidoo informed me that he would call back that afternoon and to this day hasn't. I called again today the 16th of August @ 13h43 and spoke to Sinalo and his supervisor Makhanda and both advised that it's very difficult to retrieve the recorded calls. How does vodacom operate a business by first mentioning that all calls are recorded and when these calls are being requested for verification of an offer, it's not available and you get pushed from pillar to post trying to access the recordings. Vodacom is absolutely *********** when it comes to customers.
