Vodacom - IPhone not repaired

Good day Vodacom,

I am a very upset client of Vodacom Flamwood walk Klerksdorp. On the 17Dec 2018 I took my IPhone 6 to Vodacom Flamwood walk for repairs as the front camera and flash was not working. The phone was still in its warranty; the warranty expires on 8 Jan 2019. Vodacom informed me that the phone will be sent away for repairs and it will take ±3 weeks. Vodacom Flamwood told me they will contact me once phone is repaired. In January 2019 I went to Vodacom Flamwood to find out the progress of the phone, Vodacom informed me that the phone is in store but could not confirm if repaired due to battery being flat as there was no charging cable available in store. I took the phone in good faith to go and charge and test it at home. Once charged I noticed the phone was not fixed. The following day I returned to Vodacom Flamwood and told them the phone was still not fixed. Vodacom Flamwood said they would send the phone away again, which was done. In February 2019 I was informed by Vodacom repair centre that the IPhone cannot be repaired and it is going to cost me R4600.00 to replace my phone as it is out of its warranty. On my enquiry with Annemarie Williams @ Vodacom repair centre in Potchefstroom I was told that my phone was returned to Vodacom Flamwood as the “Find my IPhone” was still on. Annemarie confirmed via email that an mail was send to Vodacom Flamwood to deactivate “Find my IPhone” which was never acknowledge by Vodacom Flamwood and that is the reason why my IPhone is still not repaired. On 4 of March 2019 Vodacom Flamwood informed me the repair of the IPhone is has been escalated to Apple service centre. Currently, thanks to Vodacom the phone is out of its warranty and still not repaired and still by Vodacom Flamwood.
