Vodacom intentionally frustrating customers with introduction of Tobi Chatbot

I am also experiencing the same problem, and it is so damn frustrating to call Vodacom with the hope of talking to a consultant or agent. You only get the option for this Tobi thing which is not even capacitated to deal with individual issues but rather generalized issues. Vodacom has short-changed me with the daily minutes which I bought last Thursday - the 15th, and the expiration was supposed to be midnight of today, but the minutes are not loaded for today - meaning they expired a day earlier (6 days in total instead of 7 days). This Tobi cannot deal with queries such as this, and here I am, being left to fend for myself and frustrated. You wonder what is the reason for Vodacom to eliminate the option of talking to a consultant. Especially when they notice there are countless number of complaints about their Tobi Chatbot, but I suspect this is a capitalist decision to reduce the number of Call Centre agents.
