Vodacom Insure ****med me for almost three years

So three years ago I took a Hauwei Nova 8i double deal at Vodacom Southgate and I insured both fones, during the sale I mentioned that my intention is not to use the vodacom simcard as I had my current number for years -the fones were not dual sim and at no point did the consultant advise that it is mandatory for the sim to always be inside the device obviously the only interest he had at that time was of the fone sale.I recently had a ******* incident and my claim was declined due to usage at the time of event Now my concern is that why is the crucial part of this insurance sneaked no follow up is done to check if the client acknowledge receipt of the terms and conditions so I was told it's my responsibility to know the terms and conditions so what us the responsibility of the service provider, is it to **** people?my understanding is that they have a view of all the active and inactive numbers that they insure however never at any given moment did they raise concern of an insured number being inactive so basically this is a money making scheme for them I bet they have a target of declining claims due to usage Furthermore their consultants have a very rude tone ,I spoke to three different consultants ( Neo ,Tisetso and Constance) -top of the cherry was Neo.Also their customer service is very poorI asked for the matter to be escalated however never received a call back ,only when I followed up on the escalation I was told that feedback was provided by the team leader yet the consultant never got back to me -these people don't have their clients best interest at heart whatsoever I paid R788.00 which included both the fone contract and insurance without fail for a whole 2years and 10months. We seriously need intervention where fone insurance is concerned especially in the aspect of communication with their clients. If these people can pull data of declined claims over the years ,80% would be usage due to the service provider not being transparent I want nothing to do with Vodacom and will never do business with them
