Vodacom Insurance service sucks

I have lodged a claim for my cellphone with vodacom insurance last week. The claim got rejected and no one bothered to inform me about that decision and the reasons there of. I called checking in on the claim process and that is when i found and i was told the reason is that i was not using the number that was insured with the phone. I was not informed by the agent when i was taking the insurance.
