Vodacom Insurance service is pathetic
Vodacom repairs have shocking service! I pay almost R300 per month for insurance for my iphone 7s. The screen then cracked and I had to send it in to Vodacom to be repaired. I handed it in on 25 September only for it to be sent back saying that find my iphone was on and that i had to switch it off. It was then sent back to be repaired on the 5th of October 2018. I received a call vodacom that insurance would pay but I would have to pay an excess of R650. The excess must now be paid in advance before receiving the handset. This was paid on 18 October. On the 18th of October when following up, the receptionist informed me that the phone was repaired but they awaited payment. I then phoned again on 22 October to see what was happening only to be told that the repair was complete and that the phone could be collected from Clearwater on 23 October. On 23 October 2018, the technician at Vodacom now informed me that my phone has not been repaired as they are waiting for parts. They can also not tell me when the parts will arrive to repair my phone. They are not willing to find out when the phone will be repaired either. The service I have received from vodacom is really pathetic after paying almost R300 per month. I would not recommend Vodacom Insurance to anyone.
