Vodacom insurance not answering phones

Nov 2019 I lost my phone Huawei Psmart 2016, I claimed everything went well I had to pay 15% for the new phone of which I knew and understood. I was told I could only get Psmart 2019 OK good. I don't like the phone so I gave it to my mom and got a new contract so now iv been trying to cancel the insurance since Dec, phones are being answered even sent a written request to cancel the insurance still no response. The irritating part now is that I'm paying for insurance that I won't use in future at the contract simcard in question I'd not used on the phone anymore because my mom is using it. I've been with that insurance and vodacom contract for about 7 years now I feel this is not the right way to treat customers
