Vodacom Insurance Misrepresentation and Service Failures
Once again, I am extremely frustrated with Vodacom. My phone was ****** from my flat last week. Despite paying a substantial monthly insurance premium, I am being forced to pay an unbelievable ZAR 6000 in excess fees plus a betterment.
Why do I need to pay so much when I have paid high insurance premiums, expecting that I would be protected in situations like this? It feels unfair and unjust to be burdened with such a massive bill for something that was completely out of my control. I have previously experienced similar issues with Vodacom, and it's incredibly irritating that this continues to happen.
I want to understand why I am liable for these costs, especially when I have fulfilled my obligations by paying for insurance. It seems like a huge **** to make customers pay large sums for incidents they shouldn’t be held responsible for, especially when theft is beyond their control.
I am calling on Vodacom to reconsider these charges and to ensure that customers like me are protected and treated fairly. Until then, I will be sharing my experience widely and warning others about how Vodacom handles customer claims.
I am still waiting for a reply to my previous complaint, where the contract department did not even bother to call, and when the insurance was passing the ball.
On top of it all, my account was messed up once again, and the line was cut without warning. WHAT AN EMBARASSING SYSTEM! especially when employees slam the phone on your face and all they do is send you **** apologies.
BTW, to date, none of my complaints have come back with a resolution.
Don't call me i don't have a phone!!!!!
