Vodacom insurance - lying, rude and condescending

I have been dealing with Vodacom insurance for the past month and after I was finally assured that my claim would be paid out, the payment I received was less than what was agreed. I was told I would pay an excess of aprox. R2000 but ended receiving a payment where Vodacom's insurance partner withheld aprox. R4000. When I called to speak to the claims supervisor "Grace Bronkhorst" that I had been dealing with this past month, she said that I was mistaken and she had never approved for me to only pay R2000. At the beginning of every call I made to them, the message plays that calls are recorded and available on request, so I did just that only to be told that they would listen to the recording internally instead. I had to demand the recordings be given to me 3 more times, with Grace repeatedly interrupting and talking over me in the most rude and condescending way imaginable. Never in my life have I been treated like more of an unimportant piece of garbage than by this supposed customer service person. Vodacom's insurance partner seem to care very little about how they treat paying customers. I was promised call backs over and over, never to receive a single call back from them. I have been **** to, ****** from and demeaned by these individuals and by Grace Bronkhorst in particular. I have now been told that I would receive the recordings of my phone conversations with them by Monday, but I fear that I will not receive any such recordings and if I do, the one I really need, the one that confirms my claims, will be missing. That is the only expectation I can honestly sum up after the repeated lying and backpedaling by this insurer.

I will continue to update this complaint as time goes on and until such a time as Vodacom makes good on their promises to me. I will not back down! I will not take this lying down! I will get what was promised to me!
