VODACOM INSURANCE IS NOT WORTH THE PAER IT IS WRITTEN ON

Bought a tablet from Vodacom online, and insured it. Paid the insurance for years. It got damaged and I even called vodasure to confirm cover, and it was confirmed. Then when I handed in my phone Vodacom who sold me the phone now wants proof of purchase which I don't have and it was not required when insured the device, they can not provide proof nor will they pay for the repair. I have a recording of the audio where my insurance was confirmed
