Vodacom insurance is a no go

Vodacom insurance is bad news, I've been with vodacom since 1995 and I now have 4 contracts with all of them having insurance I've been paying insurance and I've never claimed since then but now last year September my 1 phone got damaged and I took it in vodacom repairs called me and said vodacom insurance is refusing my claim reason being the number I'm claiming is not insured.

I called vodacom insurance and checked with them about the matter and found out that the number their querying is indeed insured and I phone vodacom repairs and told them that the insurance said my number is insured so they must reclaim.

The vodacom repairs tried many times to claim but the insurance took us pillar to post till today.

I don't advice anyone to be fooled by vodacom insurance to take insurance with them when upgrading.
