Vodacom Insurance *****
In November 2019 I upgraded my contract and took 2 new phone with Vodacom and the service provider offered me insurance(accidental damaged), with the terms that I can use any sim card on the phone for as long as the phone has been activated with the contract sim which I accepted based on that and have been paying insurance ever since. Now my phone got cracked and the insurance rejected my claim saying that the sim card was not in the device. I tried calling Vodacom insurance explaining to them and they told me to go to the store where I got the phone but nobody seemed understand why the insurance has rejected my claim as that was not in their clause when took the contract. Vodacom did not honor their own contract, I've taken it upon myself to repair my phone I want all my insurance premiums paid to date to be refunded for both my phones and I have cancelled their insurance contract because to me they are *****.
I have been contacted by Vodacom twice, first time they said my claim has been approved I must hand in my phone and I told them that I have already taken the initiative of repairing it since they rejected my claim three times, so they told me to send an invoice to their email.
Later again they called and told me that my claim has been rejected so I told them that all I want is my money back that I have already paid for the insurance because I feel that I have been fooled by Vodacom and they are still doing it by responding privately as if my query is resolved
