Vodacom insurance ****

I lost my contract phone on Saturday 06.01.2024. The phone was insured with Vodacom. The contract had 2 sim cards. At the time of lost only one sim card was inside the phone with my prepaid sim card ***). When I took the contract I did mention that I have a prepaid number that I still want to used because most of my contact know that number. The contract sim cards I was using mostly the one with more data 1gig. The other sim card ***) was having 500mega bites, 100 sms and 60 minutes a month. I was not using the sms and the 60 minutes for calls. I would use the 500 mega bites and continue with my prepaid sim card and the one contract sim card because it has more data. And I buy data on the one sim card ***).

When I lost the phone, it has my prepaid sim card ***) and one contract sim card ***). I reported the lost phone and made the sim swap for the prepaid number and the contract sim ***) was blocked. And submitted the everything that I was asked to submit, on Monday 08 January 2024. Today 10 January 2024 when I call to check the progress of my claim, I was told that my claim was decline due to that the one number***) was not in the phone during the time of losing the phone. I was told they only insured ***. My question is why did the contract phone come with 2 sim card and I allowed to use my prepaid number on the contract phone. And my prepaid number is the one that vodacom is using for the sending communication to me. Did I insured the phone or the sim card? When vodacom called me to sell the insurance even them they called me on ***. They told me that the insurance is for the phone and the screen if it get damaged. The other sim card was used for calling only or only for the 500 mega bites. We used it in any phone for the purpose of calls. Want the insurance to replace my phone with the initial contract benefits.

I am the one who called Vodacom insurance claim to check my claim. And I told that the claim was rejected because the number that was on the phone was not insured. My arguement on this matter is why did they block that number and the device if it was not insured? I don't remember insuring a sim because a sim card can be replaced but I insured the device.
I want the phone that was insured for the purpose of getting lost or damaged.
As far as I am concerned you didn't respond about the device that you blocked with IMEI number provided to you. Unless the contract is no longer valid and I no longer owe Vodacom a monthly subscription because your device was lost and blocked. Stop ****ming customers with your ******** contracts and insurance.
