Vodacom insurance dillema

Hello Peter. Peter I made a claim with Vodacom but they declined it for a stupid reason.this is what happened. My child was ****** off a tablet while coming from school. I made a claim and when I call the insurance to find out if they are going to replace it I spoke to a lady by the name of Moyisha Erasmus and told me that they declined the application because the original sim card was not in the tablet....my problem is do we insure sim cards or devices?or if a sim card is lost must I claim for a device?Vodacom are ripping people off it doesn't make sense recently I was due for upgrade which I upgraded and gave my wife that phone and I insured it with them because she was ****** as well, now the sim card in that phone is not mine should that phone get lost it means they won't replace it but keep on taking my money. I regret taking that insurance. I have been a customer for more than 20yrs with no claim but they are robbing me my had earned money.im a police officer trying to secure my property with my less earned money but companies like Vodacom see an opportunity to make money out of useless reasons.pls people becareful with Vodacom and don't so bussiness with them or you will be like me with a child who was ****** off her tablet and with no tablet that you insured.i wish to be helped on this matter I'm not a specialist in insurances and only a cop who knows to keep people safe.
