Vodacom Insurance Claim.

I am currently on contract with Vodacom with insurance. I sent my phone in for repairs on the 10 March 2022, I told the lady assisting me that the iStore had advised they give me a new phone as I had gone there to initially fix my issue with my iPhone 12. After 3 weeks I called the repair shop to find out what is the hold up with my repair it has been 3 weeks, I was told 7 working days initially. Lady on the phone quoted me for R11 000, of which I questioned why when I pay for insurance which they were not aware of, although I told the lady that booked my freaken phone in I was. 4 weeks (a month) later I was told my phone is back and they will replace it with a new one as they cannot get parts to repair the iPhone 12, insurance cleared and I was not advised for any extra amount but for me to go request for a new phone as replacement. Upone me getting to a Vodacom shop (Gateway) I am now being told I need to pay to get a replacement phone. 1. I am retrenched. 2. I have been making payment for my phone. 3. I did not loose this phone but Vodacom does not have parts for a phone I pay for. 4. Why am I being made to paid excess for an issue I as a customer, a struggling one at it, did not create. I was never advised that they don't keep iPhone 12 parts but now I need to pay more because they can only give me an iPhone 13, I really dont care if it is the cheapest 13 but why am I paying for you manufacturing issue. I have not been able to respond to my emails or edit any since as this phone did everything in persuit of me finding another job after retrenchment. You cannot provide the phone I have and don't mind having, why am I made to pay for you factory issues. And no I do not need a different brand as I am happy with the iPhone because of the convinience it has provided.
