Vodacom insurance

Last year July I upgraded my contract and took insurance for my phone, at least that’s what I agreed with the sales rep. I signed all necessary insurance papers and she assured me my phone was insured. Now My phone was ****** a few days ago. I went to Vodacom festival mall to claim on my insurance to only find she never filed the insurance papers. The manager Sue was blaming me for not checking on invoices instead of dealing with her *********** staff. What is the point of having sales reps that will assist us and then they don’t do the job. Now it has to be my problem that my insurance papers were not processed. They showed all papers I signed but they didn’t process.

I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed in the service from Vodacom at festival. I want my contract cancelled or new phone that was supposed to be part of the insurance claim

I got a call from Vodacom admitting the sales rep was wrong and it shouldn’t be my problem and this was a few days ago. I was also informed the FAC regional manager will calling me back but I had no feedback since. I want this sorted

So you what was the point of a sales rep assisting me with the insurance forms if now I’m told I should checked my statements. When I left Vodacom I was assured my phone was insured. I don’t bother checking my statements cause I expect big companies like yourself to be competent enough to have my accounts in order, that’s why I’ve been using Vodacom for years.

Now your sales rep never did her job and all you are doing is faulting a customer you have failed to provide a service to. Your service levels are really pathetic right now.
