Vodacom Insurance - be careful

Vodacom was very happy to collect my cellphone insurance payments for many years. When my phone got ****** and I went to the Vodashop in Mall @ Reds in Centurion with the police affidavit, I was told that they can't help me. Apparently the insurance was for my old iPhone and when I "upgraded" to a new phone no-one bothered to tell me that I need to "move" the insurance to cover the new phone, which was ******. They are very happy to collect the money for insurance and for very expensive new phones, but not to point out a very important point about "moving" the insurance to the new phone.
