Vodacom Insurance Bad Service
On the 18 of February I app**** for insurance for my upgraded device, by the 21 st of February I received messages that both said my insurance was activated as well as cancelled, immediately I phoned the Vodacom insurance to understand what was going on upon which I was told that they needed proof of purchase, I forwarded it to the consultant who had requested for it, on the 25th I phoned the insurance to follow up on the application and call centre told me that there were outstanding documents, I told the call centre agent that I had forwarded the proof of purchase twice already how come it is not indicated on system, the call centre agent informed me that they would check with the person I emailed to while I hold, the consultant confirmed that the proof of purchase was received and my insurance will be activated and I must check after 2 days. I have since checked for an updated and every time I call I am told again they have not received proof of purchase and everytime I have made a follow up I have mentioned that I forwarded the proof of purchase and I am told to check after two days every single time I make a follow up call, I truly fear this cycle will go on and on until I no longer even qualify to insure the device . This is poor service in my opinion how many after 2 days must I call again and again before the device can be insured, every time I query they say the say thing and I say the same thing and they say check after 2 days, but for how long though? I have supp**** everything required of me, Surely it shouldn’t take more than a few days to activate a cellphone insurance, it has been weeks and soon to be a month of querying this
