Vodacom insurance and Vodacom service
After being a Vodacom client for 20+ years I will never recommend Vodacom or their insurance again. His IPhone 11 had a problem before and this was rwplaced by a reconned phone. After a while the phone started giving trouble again as it couldn't receive any Vodacom cellphone network. A suggestion of doing a SIM swop was given by Vodacom and we did that which still didn't help. My son lives in Hoedspruit. There is no Vodashop in their area. Recently a Vodashop opened in Acornhoek. He took the phone to the Acornhoek shop. It was sent in and now the insurance that I've been paying for the past 2 years on that phone refuse to pay for THEIR reconned phone because the phone has not had any reception on it for the past few months. Stop wasting your money on Vodacom or their insurance. They will use any excuse not to pay even if there is no way of handing in a phone for repairs in an area.
Sufficient feedback STILL lacking.
I would like to have a proper contact to communicate with as the 2 consultants that have been in contact with me have NO idea what they are talking about and are unable to pin-point the reason.
The reply of 'read your terms and conditions' is unacceptable.

Vodacom, you have NO idea of client service and the staff you have is not qualified to answer questions or give factual feedback.
I'm still waiting for a person to call me that actually know what they're talking about. Don't tell me my claim has been declined and I have to read my policy to find out why. GIVE ME A REFERENCE POINT on the policy. I've forwarded the policy wording twice and asked for someone to pin-point your reason on the policy. All your staff can do is talk over clients. Let me guess... they are working from home with no supervision so they can talk to customers any way they want to. Would love to see them in an actual shop where you have walk-in clients. Don't think they'll do that great.
As a person in tourism that was not generating any income during lockdown I still made sure I was paying my Vodacom bills (where Vodacom did NOTHING to assist any clients not receiving an income). Now Vodacom is not delivering service and declining claims on NO basis at all to loyal clients that still paid bills. Well done. My contracts will not be renewed and as soon as I can, I will migrate my numbers to MTN.
Please go do some history search on my accounts. Prior to lockdown my bills were R6000 -R8000 per month. I suppose you don't need my 'peanuts'. Just remember, more will follow if you don't get your service up to standard.
