Vodacom insurance

My son had a Lenovo tablet on insurance with vodacom. We gave it in end of Feb, first we waited and then they said it needs to go to Lenovo. Then we waited, they said I have to pay the full amount and will settle afterwards, then we waited, they let us know the cost will be R4800. That is more than a new one!!!!! I said I don’t have the money, so the lady where I gave it in helped me and send it to vodacom self. But we waited again! Until now they haven’t told me anything? The poor lady ordered the Tablet, but in 2 months time they can’t even tel me what I need to pay or??????? I am so frustrated, 5 months been paying for something we cant use
