Vodacom increasing prices on existing contracts without notice
I have 3 contracts with vodacom and vodacom without notice or warning decided to increase prices on my 2 current contracts and left 1 unchanged. The increase was more than 10%, I tried calling them and the operator says they can change without notice , infact they can do whatever they want even on existing contracts without warning or notice. Vodacom is reaping people and how can they do that is it even legal.

16 Apr 2019, 08:33Dear Vodacom,
Thank you for the response, this clause is unreasonable and what happens when one can't afford the difference. The changes on the 30GB deal is as follows, the original deal is R605 and new price is R629. I received the deal on special for R349, with a reduced subscription of R256, why is that the new price only affects the R349 and the reduced subscription remains unchanged. Nowhere in your T's and C's specify that the changes will not not affect the reduced subscriptions. The percentage split must be the same throughout.
