Vodacom incorrect information to credit bureaus
I checked my credit score on Friday 22 May 2020 and noticed that Vodacom has listed me for missed payments in November and December 2019. I have not missed a single payment and I ensure that all payments are made on time every month.
I contacted the customer care and I was given a case number as it will be attended to by someone in accounts. 2 hours later I received an sms that this case number has been closed. I phoned again and insisted that a new case will be opened and that someone must respond to my query. I was told that Vodacom can do nothing and I have to correct the error with the credit bureau. This is completely unacceptable as I didn't give the wrong information through - someone at Vodacom did. They have to fix it. I was eventually put through to a lady in accounts, Johanna which was also not assisting at all and eventually put me on hold and never came back to my call.
I need my information corrected on my credit rating ASAP!!!
Just to note that this query has NOT been resolved. I'm still dissatisfied with your absolute lack of service and understanding. Making a SHORT payment of R 27.00 (R 1 500.00 + was paid) was an error on my side, swapping of digits. But a short payment is not a MISSED payment and I cannot see how it is OK for it to be listed as such on the credit bureaus. So whatever you have to tell yourself to feel better - please do that. But I can ensure you that you just lost a loyal customer of more than 10 years.
