Vodacom *********** business division.

We have cancelled one of the telephone numbers on our business contract as it came to its end after 24 months. We sent in a letter on a company letterhead to Vodacom business division stating that this contract would not be renewed. After the contract was cancelled the specific telephone number was ported to MTN on a new contract as the vodacom reception is very bad in the specific area, the number now functions perfectly on a new MTN contract... in the mean time Vodacom assigned a new number to this contract which was indeed never cancelled nor did I sign any documents for this to happen, I have had endless conversations with them, I have different reference numbers, every time I speak to a different consultant, I have followed up with email, I have driven 800km to Vodaworld not knowing Vodacom business does not reside there... as I live in Ellisras / Lephalale Limpopo province, I have stopped paying this specific contract since it was billed to me as I have the proof with reference that it was cancelled with acknowledgement from a Vodacom employee. The other numbers on this business contract I have paid, as they are in use, the new assigned number has never been used as we do not even own a sim card for this number, VODACOM HAS NOW SUSPENDED THE WORKING NUMBERS WHICH IS COSTING US REVENUE AS NO BUSINESS CAN BE CONDUCTED, as a business owner this is very frustrating, I am also lodging a complaint with ICASA as this has now been going on for almost a year, I WILL NOT PAY THE OUTSTANDING BILL as i have not used this newly assigned number. I have never dealt with such incompetence in an organisation which really doesn't give a rats ass about its customers....
