Vodacom = ***********??!!

Dear Vodacom,

I've always counted myself lucky when hearing people complain about network providers; yours and others, untill September 2016. At first it took 4months and countless phonecalls and store visits to cancel my VAS data bundle. Only after my husband wrote a review on hello peter early in December, has this eventually been resolved. Then, just as we thought all is well in Vodacom land, my end of December debitorder went off and instead of the usual R455 it was R700. (I have a cell phone top up contract and a 5G wifi contract.) I phoned your call centre to query the amount and they informed me that I went over the 5G limit and extra charges were given for data used. I could not believe that that was possible as it is only me who uses the wifi and have never seen a balance of less than 1G when checking. They couldn't send me a bill or something to indicate the exact amount of data spent on what website or internet app, only a regular invoice was mailed to me. I then visited your shop at LangebergMall to request a soft cap as suggested by my sister. Again I thought that my mission was accomplished, but you guessed it... it was NOT!!!! 2 Weeks ago I received an sms saying that my debit order of R1999 couldn't go off, R1999!!! Thank goodness it couldn't! Who can afford a phone bill of almost R1500 more than the usual amount?! AGAIN I went to the same shop and she told me exactly what they told me the previous month, that I went 700MB over my limit but she can't tell me when or how. I asked about the soft cap and she said that it wasn't turned on and also suggested and don't do it untill this has now been resolved, AGAIN!

I am utterly disappointed, disgusted and gatvol!! For the past 6months all sorts of amounts has been taken by Vodacom from my bank account and every time an issue needs to be resolved, it takes months and months, because Vodacom is not doing their job!! I refuse to longer pay for your incompetence!

I look foreward to hearing from someone who can assist me to resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Natasja Sonnekus
