Vodacom ***********
Last year Aug I accidently subscribed to a News Content Service (or WASP Services) on my Vodacom Contract, paying an extra R106.92 per month extra. Luckily I realized this in January 2018 and canceled it (or so I thought) by sms'ing "STOP ALL" to 31050, the number I got form a Vodacom walk in center.
Then on March the 20th I realized that the amount is still being deducted from my account. I called the Vodacom customer line, explained my predicament I waited for it to be resolved. The lady tried helping me but she could not pickup from Vodacom's side that I belong to any WASP services. I said that is not possible as there has been a item marked "Content Service" on my April account and Vodacom is deducting money from my account. She took my details and said she will forward my query to a solution expert. On the 26th of March I got a sms saying my query has been closed, thus thinking that it has been resolved.
Then on Saturday I got my bill and to my surprise Vodacom is still deducting R106.92 from my account!!! I don't know how this is possible as I have raised it and followed everything they said. The most worrying thing for me is that Vodacom don't pick up that I belong to a WASP service. This can only mean that I was correctly unsubscribed in January al ready from the WASP and Vodacom is now pocketing that money for themselves, thus *****ing my money for the past 4 months.
I am furious for Vodacom as they are robbing us al ready with excessive data prices and now they are taking my money for doing nothing. This is unacceptable and can not go on like this!
