Vodacom incompetence 6 month Amazon Prime Offer
I activated a free 6 month Amazon Prime Video deal, offered by Vodacom, on 12 March 2021. At around 21h30 that same day, I received a message telling me that my deal has come to an end. How wonderful. I could not even enjoy 24 hours of a supposed 6 month offer.

16 Mar 2021, 11:11I would like to know Vodacom's definition of "in due course" because it seems to me that means "we have rep**** on hellopeter to make other people think we care about our customer, who we have still not contacted."

16 Mar 2021, 15:04Received a call from Vodacom. Did not appreciate the arrogant attitude from their representative, who refused to display any empathy or take any responsibility for something he did not seem aware Vodacom offered to it's subscribers. So Vodacom's representative told me that Amazon is responsible for the offer and not Vodacom. He also told me that Amazon would have cancelled the free period after less than 24 hours because the offer had ended and not because of Vodacom. He also used small print talk to try to justify my unfortunate situation. So, according to him, whatever happens, Vodacom is in no way responsible for causing my unhappiness, even though I activated the "free" period on the Vodacom website. He also kept mentioning that it is a free service, like he is doing me a favour and I should be happy I had the service for a few hours. So when he finally discovered that the Vodacom offer does exist, he said he would get more information, then get back to me. He also asked me what I hoped to achieve by complaining about Vodacom. I hope to get what Vodacom said they would provide in THEIR offer, 6-months of free Amazon Prime Video. An offer they made to their subscribers, not an offer I begged for. Don't try to make me feel like I am being petty about a service offered by Vodacom to qualifying customers. So I wait for him to get back to me and address me in a more appropriate manner and not spoken to like I am ********. He clearly has no respect for me as a customer.
