Vodacom incompetence
We upgraded my daughters cell phone and since then we have one problem after the other. On Friday 13 July, late at night I got an automated message to pay my account as it is in arrears. I knew that I had paid my account and received message to say thank you for payment. On 17 July I phoned to check that my payment had been received to discover that I was billed R 1919 for the upgrade. Apparently this was for delivery of a phone that we actually collected. I was told this would be credited, given reference numbers. This morning I received notification that it had been escalated. At 15h00 our phones were cut off. I have been passed from pillar to post to resolve this, someone forgot to put on the system that the account must not be cut. I am a single women in a crime ridden country and now I have no contact with the outside world. This is totally unacceptable. My reference numbers are: 1- ********** ********** , 1- ********** ********** and 1- ********** ********** . I was not given a reference number today regarding reactivating our phones.
