Vodacom Incompetecy at its best

On the 31st of January my son had his cellphone ****** so we phoned Vodacom to block his phone as one would. After 30 minutes on the phone Vodacom opted to Block my wifes phone instead. After another 40 minutes on the phone they reactivated her number and requested we come in the next day to collect the replacement Sim for my Son which was done at Greenstone. On the 1st of February we collected my Sons new Sim and confirmed no issues with my wifes number. On the 2nd of February Vodacom opted to Block my wifes number again for a reason only they can understand. After spending much time on the phone on the with Vodacom they asked us to go to a store again. This was done on the 4th prior to me leaving for Mozambique where we were promised the issue would be solved in 48 hours after completing all there documents. Today is now the 8th and more than 96 Hours have passed and the line is still not operational. On calling the Vodacom help line again I get told only the store can assist. That is the same store who have been *********** in the last 2 visits. The Agent says I can phone them and gives me the contact number ********** . Surprise surprise in true Vodacom style this phone does not get answered. I am at my wits end with having my wife now at home without connectivity and having absolutely no joy from an arrogant supplier.

Further to your reply above I still await a phone call from Vodacom. My wife went to Vodacom4U in Greenstone again yesterday from 15h00 to 18h00 to try reslove this issue. Where after waiting for the same person who helped on Sunday for an hour she was assisted by Sandile. We were then informed that the issue was not captured properly on Sunday and they need to try again. The reason it took so long again is the level of staff employed to work on a Computer is dismal, one finger typing for a person whose function is computer based is just not efficient. We were now told to leave the phone off until the 13th of February and then check if it has been activated(Really is this efficiency in any form). Needless to say the REF: received may or may not be correct as the writing is so poor. ***-3P89PQ. I would appreciate if Vodacom stuck to there word and got an individual with decision making capability to call me to resolve this saga. Now 10 days of unable to use a Contract phone due to a Vodacom Employee blocking the incorrect phone.

Still no contact from Vodacom, why bother to reply to the post if you are not going to follow through Vodacom?
