Vodacom incapable of doing upgrades

I cannot believe that Vodacom is unable to do something as simple as an upgrade. Do so few people use their network and do upgrades that they are incapable of doing something so simple. I tried doing the upgrade online on 17 March only to find out that a person then needs to call me to confirm the upgrade (so 20th century). Then I phone on Monday and get told that someone from confirmations will call me within 48 hours to confirm delivery. Come Thursday I still hear nothing and the excuse is that I'm on their old system. I WORK IN I.T. this is a poor excuse and if you cannot migrate your clients from old systems to new that you are idiots.

Took 4 days to deliver the phone, and I still can't use it because I now need to get the new SIM working - again something I CANNOT do myself, even though I have the information. But I see you're very quick to bill me for a phone a still cannot use. You truly are useless! When my data contract comes to an end at the end of the year you can say goodbye to that money and then when this contract runs out, you can say goodbye to me as a customer as a whole. I know you don't care, but at least my money will go to a company that's worthy. Just to let you know again, it is 2018, it's a pity that you're still stuck in the '90's with your useless technology and LACK of service.
