Vodacom, in the wrong once more.

So, November 2019, debit order fails, Vodacom contacts me(surprising yes but I owe them money so they have a reason to contact me) I request that the debit order be re-instated, vodacom agent confirms the request. Now 6 months later I want to go make a loan at my bank to study further. I can't as I owe money to vodacom. As per my bank I owe them about R2400. I make a payment of R1500 and the same payment the following month. Go back to my bank and guess what, now I owe voda-****e R6000+. Not only was the debit order not re-instated but the number and contract had been cancelled without my knowledge. No contact from Vodacom? Now when I spoke to customer support trying to figure it out, it comes down to I must pay the money regardless of service delivered and I will lose all airtime, data, and other parts of the service such as insurance, repairs etc.

I had service for 3 months total, now I must pay for 2 years due to an accounting error on Vodacom's side?

Now i have contacted my lawyer to resolve the matter but thought I'd drop this here in hopes that we can resolve it without legal battles ensuing.

10 Days later, no contact from Vodacom. The message above is obviously an automated reply to make it look like Vodacom is attending. 0 Stars, please add a negative counter as there is absolutely nothing positive I can say in regards to this.
