Vodacom in breach of contract.

I took out a contract with Vodacom 2017. I was advised to take the Samsung S8 as it comes with free screen repair. 2018 my phone fell and my screen cracked. I went to Vodacom and asked the the procedure to get my phone repaired. I was then informed that whoever sold me my contract obviously **** as the phone does not come with screen repair. My friend that was with me on the day I took the contract confirmed that, that was what we were told. I escalated this to the CEO's office and they offer "out of good will" to cover some of the repairs. Why should I now pay for repairs if I was told it comes with a free screen repair while under the 2 year warranty? Vodacom was of no help. I then stopped my debit order and stopped using the line. Vodacom is now claiming that I pay them for the remainder of the contract. VVM told me to get an affidavit which I did. Vodacom blacklisted me and no one is willing to try and resolve this. Why should we pay for a service not being rendered. WHY CAN'T VODACOM BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT?
