Vodacom Ignoring My Cancellation - Phone Sent Despite Multiple Emails

I app**** online for a Vodacom contract for the Huawei Pura 80 Pro on 25 October 2025. Within the CPA’s cooling-off period, I sent several cancellation emails (to *** and ***) before the phone could be delivered or activated.

Despite this, I received an SMS today from RAM Couriers saying they are attempting delivery. I have not consented to receive or activate this contract, and Vodacom is ignoring my repeated cancellation requests. I still haven’t received a call they promised to make regarding this contract.

Under Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act, I have the right to withdraw from a distance/online contract within seven days of delivery, or before delivery, with no penalty. Vodacom’s failure to acknowledge my cancellation and stop the courier is unacceptable and legally questionable.

I demand that Vodacom: 1. Immediately cancel order K*** / Referral ***. 2. Confirm in writing that the contract will not be activated and no debit order processed. 3. Recall the RAM courier so that delivery is not completed.

I have full proof of my cancellation emails, timestamps, and SMS communications. I expect urgent confirmation from Vodacom within 24 hours.
