Vodacom ignoring cancellation request – no help from TOB

Vodacom ignoring cancellation request – no help from TOBI. Despite emails and getting a reply that I need to go via Tobi there are no options to cancel my contract.

I have sent multiple emails to *** to cancel one of my contract numbers (082 *** ***x) while retaining another line on the same account. I received no response except automated messages telling me to use TOBi. TOBi has no cancellation option and no way to speak to an agent. This runaround violates my rights under the Consumer Protection Act, which requires service providers to accept 20 business days’ written notice for cancellations. I have now sent follow-up reminders and even attempted WhatsApp escalation. If this is not resolved, I will escalate further to ICASA and share my experience widely. I require written confirmation of my cancellation immediately, along with any final billing information.

Still no response from Vodacom. Pathetic. I’m going to report this to ICASA amongst others.

Please just do as requested! What is so difficult? I’m presently traveling in Zimbabwe with limited access.

Please just cancel my service as requested? I don’t see any point in speaking to a consultant!
