Vodacom ignores all attempts to resolve my contract dispute
I tried to cancel a contract last year but you can only do so over the phone. I was told a note was added on file to cancel and this was because they were phoning me 3, 2 and then 1 month before the end date (you can upgrade 3 months before). A month after the end date I was charged by vodacom which I reversed and tried to contact vodacom immediately. They told me I never cancelled. I asked then to cancel and was told it would be done. Another month later and they tried charging me 3.5x the contract amount. I reversed the amount and tried contacting vodacom again. Eventually getting through to someone competent whom cancelled the contract. They told me they would launch an investigation to listen to call records to see if I cancelled the contract and would be contacted within 2 days. Nobody contacts me and I try finding out what the outcome of that investigation was. Nobody can give me an answer and every time they try forward me to the next person the call ends. Now vodacom has issued a summons that I must pay the money. I have tried phoning, emailing customer support as well as their legal department, and gone in-store to find out how to resolve this. Even tried calling from a vodacom store phone which they still put down whenever I tried getting information. The legal email closes the case before asking me to send information through. I am now trying to contact the NCC and not sure what else to do.
(1) customer support to email me back,
(2) a consultant to call me,
(3) the legal department to reopen the case and email me back as they closed the case the same minute they sent out an email asking for more information from my side (Mon 13:53 for both the email asking for info and the closing of the case)
