Vodacom Ignoreline
One would think that to cancel a Vodacom Contract would be reasonably easy, the contract has run it course you no longer need them. Well obviously not, either Corporate Policy is to ignore cancellations or personnel incompetence (the manager explained that records of my cancellations are on record but had not been actioned), makes this impossible, it would seem. In Late August/September 2020 I rang the Vodacom Customercare line (the Care part is not a word that should be used, “customerignore line” would be more fitting) and cancelled contracts all of which related to Data (as a note where I live Vodacom Coverage is non-existent). One would assume that would be the end of it, but no 4 further calls in October and a discussion with a “Manager” who assured me it would be actioned, further numerous calls in November December and again in January 2021 after Vodacom still continues to remove funds for the cancelled contracts. Numerous emails to the Vodacom “ignoreline” with all the related information and requests to action this simple request. Well at the time of writing I have had a mail confirming that one of the cancelled contracts has now been placed on Pay as You Go…….. well done Vodacom, seriously are your systems and personnel so poor that this is the best you can achieve. Please don’t use COVID as an excuse you have a myriad of people sitting at home online with access to the system, whether they can or want to use it is anyone’s guess. So the way I see it is that Vodacom is removing money from my account for a service no longer utilized or wanted and Cancelled, will not answer or action requests to address this issue, even after sending a mail to explain I will post this on social media and take further steps. So a definition for Vodacom Theft is the taking of another person's property or services or s**** money without that person's permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it. Looking at the next steps from here, suffice to say its going to get costly……
