VODACOM IDENTITY THEFT
Hi On the 2nd of June 2018 i reported a case of identity theft with Vodacom Northgate. I was told a case has been opened with Vodacom ***** division, and the issue will be resolved in no time.
I had to go back again on the 1st of July because nothing was being done and Vodacom was still deducting money from my Bank account.
Called Vodacom ***** division and was told the case is being investigated, again nothing was done, they had the nerve to email me an invoice.
Called yet again and was advised to email the Vodacom ***** division with a copy of my ID, my three signatures and an affidavit. I did just that and even included a letter from the South African ***** Prevention Services detailing that i have been a victim of identity theft. I was told that i will be contacted withing 48 hours, a two weeks later no phone call from Vodacom, and yet again on the 9th of July they had the nerve to email me an invoice.
What angers me the most is that they have always had a copy of my id with my picture yet failed to verify when the ***** opened the account.
I AM SITTING HERE AND THINKING VODACOM IS THE REAL *****. I AM SO TIRED TO CALLING THE USELESS PEOPLE AT VODACOM, BECAUSE NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE.
