Vodacom i want my number back

Vodacom processed a sim swap without my knowledge around 9pm at night. which shop was opened at that time of the night before pay day? i called their call centre, was made to talk to a robot and press endless option for over an hour. the next day i went to Vodashop to reverse the sim swap back to me, 2 days later, sim swap done again, the number that to have used for over 10 years has been ported to MTN. do they not verify such requests with customers? do they don't even check when last was the number used?
